Leon Dunn

Leon is a native of Charlotte, NC who has had the rare opportunity to live all over the world.  His travels, which span from Asia to Europe, have afforded him the understanding of a vast array of cultures.  These experiences have been vital in making Dunn the creative film visionary he is today.  Since returning to Charlotte, he has been instrumental in building a close relationship with the Charlotte Regional Film Commission, as well as the Charlotte Regional Partnership, a non-profit organization dedicated to the planned growth and prosperity of the Charlotte region.

Alfred De La Garza

Alfred started out as a production assistan on several short films before moving on to feature-length films.  He wore many production hats such as boom operator, set designer, and production coordinator before working his way up the ranks to become a producer.  After working along side some of the Charlotte area's most talented filmmakers, his latest involvement as a producer has been with an up and coming film director, William Kaufman (The Prodigy, The Hit List) on Sinners & Saints and Shotgun Kiss (in production).

Having grown up on the move, Kaufman had the opportunity to live all over the world, from Asia, to Europe to back home here in the United States.  After film school at the University of North Texas, he started his career working in the special effects department, where he learned the intricacies of feature film production from some of the most skilled and talented technicians in the industry.  It is also here where he began to understand and develop his ability to construct incredible action sequences while working with very little money and half the equipment typically used by the studios.

Adding to his talents, Kaufman began working as a Second Unit Director and Producer for commercials and independent films.  He then went on to direct his debut feature indie film, "The Prodigy". With the extraordinary international and domestic success of  "The Prodigy", the demand for Kaufman really took off.  In 2010, he was brought on to direct the Sony Pictures thriller, "The Hit List", starring Oscar winner Cuba Gooding Jr. and Cole Hauser.  That same year, he directed and produced his own film, the action thriller "Sinners and Saints" set in post-Katrina New Orleans.  "Sinners and Saints" stars Johnny Strong, Sean Patrick Flanery and Oscar nominees Jurgen Prochnow and Tom Berenger.

A single father, Kaufman recently returned to North Texas from Los Angeles to raise his two young children near their large, extended family.
